How to re-download my Dropbox folder on my desktop?
My SSD with my DB folder on it got corrupt, and so some folders in my DB folder were missing. I tried to replace them with a back up before really thinking about it, and don't want to accidentally tell the cloud that those missing folders are supposed to be gone/deleted.
Either way, now the dropbox application itself always shows there's ~400 files waiting to upload/sync after replacing the missing folders, but it never seems to complete.
So, the sync process is halted, but I also don't want to accidentally remove files from the cloud either.
What would be the best way to stop this entire mess and just re-download the version of my drop box archive from the cloud instead? Am I correct that it would work to uninstall Dropbox, rename the old folder as a backup, then re-install dropbox and have it re-download the contents of the folder?
Thanks!

Hi TMkII, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Your solution is exactly correct, although you don't need to uninstall and reinstall the app.
The best method to ensure that you get a fresh download of the files on your Dropbox account would be to sign out of your Dropbox account in the desktop app, rename the old folder, and then sign back into the account in the desktop app.
This way, it'll sync down the files from the site in a brand new folder.
