I get the message that my files might contain phishing content.

Device
Computer using AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and 32 GB RAM
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
Windows 11
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
Dropbox Online
Syncing Status
I use Dropbox.com exclusively

Question or Issue

I am trying to share a file and get the message "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content"

Relevant Facts:

1) File does not contain phishing content.

2) I am not close to my limit.

3) File is legal content, legally obtained.  It is a simple PowerPoint file.

4) File is 2.52 MB.

No customer support except for paid subscriptions.

The PowerPoint file is located in my "All files" section of my DropBox account.  The file is called "CEIS106 - Week 1 - Introduction.pptx".  Here is the error message.  Please contact me using the email associated with my forum profile.  Thank you!

    Hi Birdman2010​​, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    It sounds like access to your sharing was paused on your account.

    Have you checked this article to see if any of the files you're trying to share, or have already shared, breaches the Terms of Service? 

    In any case, I went ahead and created a support ticket on my end for you. Reply back to me, and we'll take it from there.

    Megan,

    I checked that article before I posted this help request.  All the files are my files and they are all good.  I have been using Dropbox for a long time and this is the first time that I have received this error.  What do I do next?
