I migrated my files from an older Mac to a new one but not all files were migrated

Hi there, I have an old Macbook air with a load of folders in the Drop box. I've migrated all of my files to the new Macbook Air, but it's not seeming to sync.

I managed to get a folder which was on my desktop into the new mac Drop Box, but there's none of the previous folders.

Hey Nicky648, thanks for joining us!

When migrating from an old computer to a new one, the best way to go about the process is to install the Dropbox desktop app on the new computer and simply allow it to sync your files.

However, keep in mind that the app will sync all the files that are stored in your account online.

If you have files on your old computer, which might be in the Dropbox folder, but haven't synced online, they won't sync to the new computer either.

Can you confirm that you can access all your Dropbox files from your account on dropbox.com?

If so, you should be good to follow the process I suggested.

Let me know how it goes!
