I somehow have two Dropboxes and need to merge them
Recently my Director of Ops tried adding another folder to our Dropbox, but it somehow changed everything. Now I have 2 separate Dropboxes and I want to merge them together. The one I use a lot now looks like this:
I want it to merge with my other Dropbox folder like it used to, which looks like this:
I hope someone is able to help me. Thank you!

Hey JSheppard42, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
Would you mind clarifying the part about having two Dropboxes?
Do you mean two different Dropbox accounts or two different folders within a Dropbox account?
If it's just different folders, there's no way to automatically merge them, but you can move the files of the one folder to the other, by following these steps.
Let me know if that's not what you're looking for, or if you need anything else.

Hi Hannah,
When I log in to Dropbox, I see a list of folders on the left hand side. My supervisor also gave me access to another folder but instead of showing up with the folders I already have, it opens up in a separate link. I can't get it to show up with the other folders like it used to. Does that make any sense?

Hi JSheppard42, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're referring to.
Are these shared folders you're seeing, of a shared link on the site? Do you access those other folders using different account credentials?
Please clarify exactly how you're accessing both sets of files to assist further.

I am trying to merge 2 Dropbox accounts into 1. I have a Dropbox plus on my iPhone but my Mac was using a Business plus Trial. I thought they were both the same account until the trial ran out on my Biz Account. How do I save those Dropbox files in my Biz accounts that have been stored, transferred, copied to emails, etc and merge my Dropbox Plus Account to my Mac to get those files into ONE dropbox account that is active?

Hi Dragonretard
You cant merge accounts I'm afraid. You'll need to use shared folders to move the data beween them and log in to the account you want to keep on all devices: https://help.dropbox.com/account-settings/merge-two-accounts
