I'd like the ability to shorten the URLs of shared links.

When I share a file with a client, the  URL created by dropbox is always really long and ugly. I always go to TinyURL and create a nicer looking shortened URL to put in the email. It seems like dropbox is missing a chance to have their own service like this. Please gives us shortened URLs!

They used to have this ability (it used db.tt as the URL) but it was removed years ago. If you want shortened URLs now, you need to pass the link through a third-party service.

They should want the the thousands of dropbox files being shared everyday to be dropbox branded. Seems like a stupid business decision!

I’d like to thank you for your feedback, csnoke; I’ve made sure our team can see it too, in case they consider bringing this feature back at some point in the future.
