Issues with the photo size on Android when using the Box app

I have an Android (Galaxy something). Using the box app, continuous capture is set to take small photos, but seems to still be taking full resolution 2.7-3.1 MB instead of something in the 300KB size.

Is there some other phone setting I need to adjust to allow the Box App to take small photos?

Hey JamesMac - welcome to the Dropbox Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please clarify if you're referring to the Dropbox mobile app for Android and the camera uploads feature or maybe the Box app which is a third party app?

Any additional information is more than welcome!

Seems to be the third-party box app for Android. Not the Dropbox Secure Cloud Storage app.

I see, thanks for clarifying that for me JamesMac

In that case, I'm afraid I don't have much to offer and I'd suggest that you reach out to them directly.
