Not seeing many of my recent files after Dropbox asked me for a sync

just one hour ago I could see all my dropbox files...it asked me for a sync and now I am not able to see many of my recent files...could anyone plz help me, how to recover them?

    We need more info here, what has happened, what did you do, what was set up etc.?

    Where are the 'recent' files and what exactly is the error. Please remember we cannot see over your shoulder.
