Owner of shared folder deletes account, can I still access the shared files
Hello
Company A was taken over by Company B. Company A shared some folders with Company B.
Can company A now delete their account, even though they're still owner without company B losing the shared folders? Or does company B need to copy the files from the shared folder to a private folder?
Hey webrand - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
In this case, just to be safe, you can change the shared folder's owner using these steps before Company A deleted their account.
I hope this helps!
