Question regarding sharing files vs folder

Question or Issue
Hi. I am working on a project that involves putting numerous .pdf documents in a folder. (A mini library of sorts) My question is how to allow readers to access a specific file vs. accessing all files in the folder without having to share links for numerous documents. That is, readers may want access to a single or a few documents but not all. If there are 20 documents for example a reader might want 3 - 4 but not all, or someone might want all 20.  How do i keep this from becoming an ad i istrative nightmare?

Hi there, Bpcnc2, thanks for posting your query to the Dropbox Community!

Creating and sharing a link to the actual folder containing all the files would definitely be easier for you.

The link will give access to all files in the folder, to anyone who has access to the link.

If everyone having access to everything is a problem for you though, the next option would be to create and share links to each file in the folder, and share each link with whoever needs to access it, which might be a hassle.

Hopefully I didn't misunderstand your question, but do clarify if I did, so I can provide a better solution.

    Thanks!
