Quickbooks .qbw file not syncing

I am having a problem with one of my clients Quickbooks .qbw files not syncing to my shared dropbox folder.  The .nd and .dsn files from Quickbooks are syncing but not the .qbw.   There are two Quickbooks company files in this shared folder.  The other .qbw file is syncing just fine and it is twice the size of the file that is not syncing.  I have renamed the file.  Confirmed that my clients dropbox is not full.  Restarted my clients computer and my computer.  I have logged into my dropbox online and the sync is not happening there either. Any ideas?

    Hi KarenB67, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    Are there any other users accessing the file at the same time?

    When you view the file in Explorer or Finder, what sync icon is on the file?

    Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

    No, we coordinate so that only one person at a time is opening the file. 

    I'm not sure about the sync icon....we do track the date, time and file size to know we have the correct file.  We noticed that these were not correct.  That's when we changed the file name to see if it would sync.  The only files that synced through were the .nd and .dsn files.

    It sounds like either Quickbooks is OPEN and so it cannot sync, or, Quickbooks has moved the location of the file to outside of the Dropbox folder - have you checked where its saved?
