Sharing a folder link without them being able to see all the folders.

I have a main folder for my clients. I want to be able to share their individual folders with them without them being able to see other client's folders. When i test it, the test allows them to not only see their folder but to see the entire Dropbox main folder.

Hi carynhodge123, let's jump right into this!

If  I understand this correctly, you need to share a specific folder with your clients, without giving them access to the wrong folder, right? If not, feel free to correct me.

When you say you want to be able to share your individual folders with them, without them seeing other client's folders, could you elaborate please?

Can you clarify the plan you're using, and the platform and steps you're using on your end, to achieve that?

    Keep me posted!

Hi, I created a main folder in Dropbox. I then created two separate folders in that main folder - one for each of my clients. We will call them client A and client B. When I go to client A’s folder and copy the link to share with them so they can see the pictures I’ve uploaded, I send them the link but when they get the link they’re able to not only see their folder, but in the navigation bar, they are able to click back to Dropbox and see the other clients folder and all the contents of the main folder. I have the Basic plan so support is limited. I don’t want them to see all the folders, just theirs. Can you tell me if that is possible.

Hi carynhodge123, did you share the parent folder with them as well, aside from creating a link to the subfolder?
