Stuck on indexing on Mac
Hi. I re-installed Dropbox due to a day of files not syncing. It's now not even indexing files. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried fixing permissions, only syncing a small number of folders, nothing I can find appears to be working. I'm running Mac 15.0.1 and the latest version of Dropbox.
I've looked at my internet and it's 300/250mb, I'm not doing anything intensive on the laptop.
Hey lukeneedshelp, let me also jump in here!
Could you try fixing your hardlinks and permissions and let us know how it goes?
What about signing out of the app, and then back in?

Hey lukeneedshelp, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Did you notice that this started happening after some kind of update on your OS or the Dropbox app?
What's the exact sync status when hovering over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hi Hannah - I've been on the new mac OS for at least a week now so not totally new. Thetoolbar says Dropbox 211.4.6008 Indexing...
Thanks in advance.

lukeneedshelp, can you right click on your local Dropbox folder, go to “Get info” and send us a screenshot of the next window you’ll get?

Hey Megan - thanks. I tried them earlier in the day to no avail and again just now, unfortunately still stuck on indexing.

Hey lukeneedshelp, hm I see.
Have you tried contacting our Support directly for this? I'm suggesting this, since they'd have more visibility to the account and device-specific info needed for this.
Once you do, feel free to send me the ticket number reference, in order for me to locate it on my end.

As I was writing a ticket, half an hour later, it weirdly sprung into action. Must've been one of your earlier fixes. Thanks.
