Sync Issues with Latest Release (195.4.4995) On Apple Silicon
It looks like the Dropbox app updated itself on all three of my Macs yesterday (about midday GMT) to 195.4.4995.
Since then, I've had issues syncing files created on my M3 MacBook Pro. Specifically, it seems that with files of a certain size (approx 1MB plus) and PDFs (of any size), the sync never completes. If I copy those files to either of my Intel based Macs and then move them into the Dropbox folder, they sync immediately.
Is there a problem with the Apple Silicon version of this release? Although it has the same version number as the copy on my Intel machines, I notice the file size is different so I guess it's a separate Apple Silicon binary?
I'd welcome any suggestions please. I've tried pretty much all of the usual fixes (Fix Hard Links, Fix Permissions, restart the app, restart the machine) and I've even logged out and logged back in, which (rather irritatingly) created a brand new Dropbox folder and resync'd everything from the server.

Hi throg, thanks for providing these details.
As you've already tried most of the steps we would suggest, I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to investigate this matter in more detail.
Keep me updated with any progress.

Sorry, I forgot to add - sync works fine on the M3 in the same folders if I create relatively small text files.

Thanks for the info, it might be worth mentioning that in the email you send to the team.

Thanks, I've raised a ticket and I did indeed include that extra info.
I'll update here as and when I get anything back from them.
