The personal team member folder doesn't sync on a computer and I can't remove it either.
Hi,
In my team we share a common Folder, and I really don't need this 'Personal folder' that appeared after an update.
Also it is weird as there is nothing in it, but an infinite arborescence of a folder with my name.
On my computer i can put it in 'Online only', but i'm logged into another common computer and there it seems to never stop syncing.
I cannot disable with selective sync, nor delete the folder.
How can I get rid of this bug ?

That can happen if they were unable to be deleted on a device.
You delete a file or folder online through the website. That deletion syncs down to a device and Dropbox tries to remove the file/folder but is unable to (either because it's in use, or otherwise locked somehow). Since the file/folder still exists after the deletion, Dropbox has to sync it back to the account, which causes any other device to download it again.
Try putting a file in the folder before deleting it, making sure it syncs, and then delete the folder. If it returns again, look at the version history of that file and see which computer is putting it back.

Thanks for posting here, ManL.
The personal folder that you’re seeing (under your team member name) is for when you wish to store private files on your Dropbox account and not have them be visible by the rest of the team. You can most definitely though don’t use it, if you don’t wish to.
As for the device where the folder doesn’t sync, there seem to be multiple folders within that personal folder. Are those duplicates of the same folder perhaps?
Let me know more info on what you see exactly.

Thanks for your reply Nancy ,
the 'duplicates' are created automatically and i don't understand how this happens.
When i try deleting the first duplicate inside the personal folder (i did it online directly), then when I sign out/close dropbox app and re-open, they appear again and re-sync.

Thanks Rich ,
after putting a file in the folder, sync, then delete the folder (the very first duplicate) everywhere at the same time (online + locally on both computers), it seems to work!
