"We’ve interrupted your sharing activity" error when trying to share files
I received the following error:
"We’ve interrupted your sharing activity" error when trying to share files"
I see this problem has been happening to others in the forums, and since I don't have a paid account, I'm here asking for help. My account will not allow me to create links to shared files. It was working up until today. Any assistance would be great.

Hi there Alpow - sorry to hear about this.
Is this the first time you're getting this error? Did you receive an email from Dropbox about this perhaps?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Long time user. This is the first time. I did get an email. I clicked on the restore sharing link and it took me to a page where it said it unblocked the problem. However, it is still not working.

I see, thanks for the additional details Alpow
Since this is the first time this happens, it should get sorted in about 24 hours since you first received the error.
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime.
