We wish to scan our documents and save them directly to Dropbox. Is it possible?
Hello,
we have a multifunctional printer (includes a scanner). And up until now we always scanned the document, and send it via SMB to our local storage. Now that we want to migrate to Dropbox, we are looking for a solution. The goal is to directly send the scan document to our dropbox, since we are getting rid of our local storage.
I've read that it could be possible either through API or a third-party software.
Thanks in advance for any help regarding this topic.
We are not comfortable with this workflow. The solution we are now going with, is that the printer sends the document to a selected E-Mail-Adresse and the colleagues can access the document from there and if needed copy it to the dropbox.
Thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard our Community, sl3456!
At the moment, it’s possible to scan documents directly from the Dropbox mobile app and save them to your Dropbox account afterwards. You can check out this Help Center article for more details.
Let me know if this could work for what you need.
