"Your Dropbox is full" error when uploading files to a shared folder
Hi. I met someone at a concert and recorded a video of him interacting with the singer, and would like to send the video file to him. He gave me a Dropbox link to upload the video, but when doing so using the Dropbox Android app, I get a notification of "Upload stopped. Your Dropbox is full." Is this referring to MINE or HIS Dropbox being full?
I have a free Dropbox Basic account with 2GB of storage. The video file is 2.33GB.
I read that uploading files to someone else's Dropbox uses my own, I think, but I don't know if that applies in this situation. Thanks!

Yours. Because shared folders use the quota of everybody within it.
To send instead ask him for a File Requests upload link: http://www.dropbox.com/requests
