Dropbox on mobile phone

Hi guys, if I upload files from my PC into Dropbox. Then download the app on my phone. Does that mean they'll automatically be stored on my phone or do you just access them from the cloud?
I'm worried it'll use up all the memory in my phone?
Cheers
Phil

The mobile apps just show you a list of the files stored in your account. The only files stored on your device will be the files that you open (stored temporarily) and the files you mark as available offline (stored until you remove them).
