I got a new phone but I'm out of storage space

I have new phone. The old one broke so lost most of the data, photos, files. There are no photos or files from the previous phone. However Dropbox keeps sending emails that files are not syncing and I am out of space. It is so frustrating. I could not even apply for travel card, it says the memory is low. It is new phone with good storage space. Something is really wrong. It feels it keeps the memory of old phone but I have lost most, I have a little on my new phone. How to sort it please? Thank you.

    Hi tmelnikova 23

The space in Dropbox is in no way related, at all, to what is on your device. So the fact you have no space on Dropbox is of no matter to the device.

It just means you cannot add any more files to the Dropbox service. It wont stop you adding photos/apps/videos etc. to the phone.
