If I upgrade and later on downgrade, do I keep my referral space?

I was thinking of upgrading to Dropbox Plus. 2TB seems like a good amount of space!

However, if the price goes up a lot, would I then be able to downgrade back to basic and keep my referral space? I have 8GB built up over the years and I assume I'd lose that.

Hi PJCoffey, thanks for posting your question here!

Generally, you won't lose your referrals if you upgrade or downgrade your subscription.

They'll be worth 500 MB if you are on a Basic account, in relation to the 1 GB space they are worth if you are on a paid subscription. You can see more about this here

Give me a shout with any updates or any other questions, cheers!

Does that apply if I upgrade as well? I was a pretty active recruiter and referrer in college which was some time ago.

Doesn't really matter to be honest 8gb in 2000 isn't worth quibbling about. 😀

    Hey PJCoffey

Yes, the same thing applies if you upgrade. 😇
