Issue with getting Dropbox re-installed on my computer
I opened a discussion on this topic before but my Dropbox host has disappeared, so I need to start it again. Somehow several weeks ago, my computer (Windows 10) did an update and presented me with a splash screen for Dropbox. When I clicked on the screen, it installed a second application of Dropbox but I was unable to see my files (it was blank, empty). In fact I couldn't find them on my computer until I did a file explorer and found that a new Dropbox folder had been created labeled Dropbox(old)) and that folder had all my saved data. I have moved that folder to a separate hard drive for safe keeping while I try to re-established the Dropbox app on my computer. I believe I need to un-install Dropbox completely and re-install. Right now, I have in my file explorer file tree a lone Dropbox folder which when I click on it says Location Can't Found. BTW, I still have an account with Dropbox which is accessible through the weband is up-to-date as of the first restart. Is ther anyone who can lead me through the editing of the file tree and maybe cleaning up the registry (Yes, I still see Dropbox under SOFTWARE, WOW6432Node)
Thanks in advance.
