Unkowingly ran out of space. Now what?

I ran out of storage space on my basic plan.  Did not know this.  Continued uploading to dropbox quicken backup files.  Now my computer crashed.  Would those previous backups to dropbox be available anywhere in dropbox if I created additional dropbox space?

When you run out of space in your account, syncing stops and you wouldn't be able to upload new files or make changes to existing files. This means that if you were saving the files to the local Dropbox folder on your computer, they wouldn't sync to your account online. Adding space to your account would resolve the sync issue if the computer was functional, but it won't help recover the files if they were never synced or uploaded to your account.

Do you see any activity of these files on your Events page?

Also, when a computer crashes it doesn't necessarily mean that all data is lost. Have someone knowledgeable in computer repair take a look at your hard drive. They may be able to recover files from it.
