Desktop app stuck on "Connecting Components" during an update on macOS
Yesterday the Dropbox app notified me it needed to change locations on my Mac from Favorites to Locations. I left it running over night and it still wasn't done. I quit the application, uninstalled and re-installed it and I still can't access any of my files through the app. I've attached a picture of the message. Also, before anyone asks, my firewall isn't even up (probably a bad thing) so that won't solve the issues.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, DrMosley87.
Are you still having this issue or did the app finish the update?
Can you also simply hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, without clicking on it, and let me know what you see?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Hannah,
Yes, I am still having this issue, unfortunately and I've left it running since my post. Here's a screenshot of what happens when I hover my mouse over the icon. - Nancy27 days ago
