Dropbox installer failed to start message being received when I try to install
I have a new laptop with Windows 11. i have been using Dropbox for many years on my old laptop. Now need to install the free version on my new laptop.
Keep getting same error message "Dropbox installed failed to start".

Hey bwessel, let's jump right into this!
Often, the antivirus (not only your firewall) or security software on your computer will block Dropbox from completing the install or startup process. To check if this is the culprit there, follow these steps:
Temporarily disable any antivirus or security programs on your computer. Reinstall the Dropbox application using our offline installer.
