External drive support on File Provider (Mac) beyond 500k files limit
Hi,
I'm aware that it is possible to sync to an external drive (albeit with the 500k file limitation).
I am wondering if there is any immediate plan to remove this 500k files limitation? I am working with lots of small files that can't fit into my internal drive, and I'm unsure about how I can sync my Dropbox to my local computer nicely.
Cheers,
Kenyon

Hey kenyonn, happy Monday!
I see where you're coming from, and how vital that'd be for your workload, and device.
However at the moment, it's not possible to remove that limitation. It's been implemented to ensure that both the feature, and our app work as smoothly as possible.
Your feedback regarding this has been very valuable and I will endeavor to make sure your voice is heard.
We listen to your needs because it allows us to fully appreciate how Dropbox fits into and influences your daily routine, so I'll share your comments with our team internally.
Thanks a bunch!
