How do I delete the Dropbox icon from my Quick Access on Windows?

I don't know if there's something wrong with me, but I genuinely don't know what to do.

I'm not using Dropbox currently, so I deleted it from my computer (via Control Panel) and everything is fine. Except for the Dropbox folder/icon in Windows Explorer that I just can't get rid of.

I uninstalled Dropbox completely and it's still there and I'm wondering is there a way to remove the icon as well? It's not a big deal and right now I'm more curious than anything to be honest. I've been using computers for almost 30 years and this is the first time when an icon beats me :P

Hey Martin87, thanks for posting here today!

Just to make sure we're on the same page here: do you wish to remove the folder itself or the Quick Access option as shown on your screenshot?

Have you tried deleting your Dropbox folder locally? That doesn't happen automatically once you uninstall the app, and you should be good to go since you've removed it.

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Oh wow, that's a fast answer.

I would like to remove Quick Access option. I have already manually deleted my Dropbox folder and after doing so I can't do anything about the mentioned icon as I'm getting the error saying that "Location is no longer available".

EDIT: I just realised that the topic name may be little confusing, sorry for that.

Hi Martin87, no worries, I just edited the title of the post for you. 😀

In regards to the Quick Access, that's something Windows related, and not directly Dropbox-related.

I did some research online on my end for you, and found these steps, let me know if they help.
