How do I get rid of the green ticks on images I see in File Explorer?
Today green checks have appeared on all my files in explorer which I believe are to do with dropbox sync status. They are a large distracting annoyance. How can I get rid of them?
I do remember having them a few years ago and somehow managed to stop them showing, but now the pesky buggers are back :( I can't recall what I did to stop them showing.
How can I stop them obscuring my images?

Hey s p.5! Thanks for posting on our Community today.
In general, the Dropbox overlay icons can’t be turned off in File Explorer, and I wouldn’t suggest trying to manually remove them either, as they’re an essential part of the desktop app and play a vital role in its functionality.
However, since you mention that they’re large in size and distracting, can you send me a screenshot of what you see exactly on your end?
Besides that, I'd like you to clarify if you can only see them next to the files/folders in your local Dropbox folder, or outside of it, as well.
Let me know, once you have more info.
