I use dropbox for long years, I'm paid custumer with 2 TB. Dropbox Plus
2 weeks ago my dropbox from desktop stoped works.
I could not delete it from my computer, just could do that with Geek Unistaller.
But I can get dropbox install again of any way. I try to install and a error appears: error dropbox: - 535887868
Can someone, please help me?
Even dropbox support could not help me.
I use windowns 10 Pro.

Thanks a lot for your help and attention

  • Hey @Nancy, first of all, thanks for your very fast help.
I tried the process sent by email for dropbox team, but it failured too.
Then I made more researchs and I found a way and could install dropbox desktop again.
I had to close every dropbox aplications in "task manager" and uninstall, then install it again.
I don't know why, but  now it's working perfect. 🙂

    Thanks again for your time.
    Best Regards

I’m sorry to hear this, @Daniel Ranieri.

Can you send me a full screenshot of the error you’re getting? I’d also like to know the app version of your Dropbox app.

Other than that, I’ve located your support ticket in our system, and I’ve also left an internal note to our team for you.

Let me know when you’re ready.
