I'm getting a blue screen after installing Dropbox on my Windows device.

Hi

I am having an issue with Dropbox App.

When installed and logged in i start to get BSOD to the point that within a minute of logging into the PC it crashes with BSOD

Stop code: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION

What Failed: dbx.sys

once i uninstall Dropbox app i stops happening, and if i reinstall as soon as i log into and connect the dropbox app it starts again.

Any suggestions

Thanks for posting about this issue here, FLMP.

If you’ve currently uninstalled Dropbox, can you attempt to install it again via our offline installer?

Let me know if you keep seeing the same thing after that.
