I'm getting an "Installation failed" error on my macOS 15.3.1 computer.
I'm trying to install Dropbox on a MacBookPro18,3 with MAC OS 15.3.1. If I run the Full Desktop I get this message.
If I run the Offline installer once the password is enetered nothing else happens. The Install Dropbox screen just stays there. Dropbox had been installed, but the user has no recollection of it being uninstalled. The only remnant I could find is that Dropbox was listed in the Open at Login area, which I removed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey lbenioff25 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
If you made sure that there's no antivirus, firewall or VPN/proxy setting that could be causing issues, can you please try the offline installer from this page directly and let me know how it goes when you try to install as outlined here?
Thanks!

Hi Walter I am having the same issue when Mac Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70) was downloaded. When my computer restarted it said that dropbox could not be installed on that version. I am even having trouble with the offline version you've linked. Do you have an updated version that will help with the 15.3.1 issue?

Hey JFlive - sorry to hear about this.
Could you please try the installer from this page and let me know how it goes?
If you still get the same results, please send me a screenshot of the error you're getting so that we can have a visual too.

Thanks, Walter. After some trouble shooting the initial download "offline" page worked for me! I will keep this second page handy if there are any other issues. MUCH APPRECAITED!

JFlive - Can you share the troubleshooting you did that enabled Dropbox to install?

Walter - I tried both the offline and the desktop version. Once I double-click and the user enters their password nothing more occurs.

I spoke too soon - it started working yesterday and now I can see my files in my finder but dropbox is not loaded to the computer so I do not see any of the normal options I have when I right click (syncing, ect) and dropbox is not in the top bar on my computer.

Hey lbenioff25 and JFlive, if the offline installer didn't work and you've made sure that no security apps are interfering with the Dropbox app, can we send you an email, so we can investigate further?
