permissions error after migration

After the profile migration, Dropbox is causing permission errors for me. I've attempted to reinstall it and clean the cache folder, but the issue persists. Interestingly, when I attempt to open Dropbox from another profile, it works perfectly.

Hi calicantro, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It looks like you have two different username profiles, which could be affecting the installation.

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

Keep me updated with any progress!

Thank you for your prompt reply, Jay.

This issue is not occurring on my computer; it's happening on someone else's.

The problem arises after installation. When I attempt to open Dropbox to proceed with the login, I encounter an error.

Sorry, could you clarify what you're trying to do? Are you trying to open the Dropbox desktop application that's installed on another profile on your machine, is that right?

Not on my computer; I'm trying to resolve the error on someone else's computer.

On that computer, when I try to open the desktop app from her profile, it gives me an error. However, if I use another profile, I can open the app without errors.
