Red badge on icon--can't find bad file

I use Dropbox Free on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Pro. I've got a red badge on my system tray icon; I know that means that something won't sync. However, after going through my files, I can't find what that something is. I had a sync problem this morning, but I worked it out, so why am I seeing  a badge on my icon? (Note: the badge has been there for several days.

Hey Roger B.30, thanks for the speedy reply!

In regards to the 1 red number you see there, could you click under Activity, and make sure all of your notifications are read?

Just to have a better visual of it, could you send me a screenshot showing your notification settings in your desktop app after clicking the little Dropbox icon?

Have you tried quitting the app, and re-starting it?

Hey Roger B.30, thanks for posting here today!

Could you please confirm the version of the Dropbox desktop app you're running on your computer?

You can do this by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in the system tray. If I were you, I'd double-check that all of my app notifications have been checked.

In case this isn't it, then could you click on the Dropbox icon that has the red dot, and take a screenshot of your notification center?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Megan, the badge has vanished of its own accord. Thank you for your time (and your hand-holding).
