Searching for files that are available offline in my File Explorer doesn't return any results.
I recently bought a new computer with Windows 11 pre-installed. As I have done many times before, I installed Dropbox and synced all my documents to be available offline on the new computer, which is working fine. However, when I use the Search function in File Explorer, it's unable to recognize the files that are in my Dropbox folder. The files are definitely hard-copied to the new SSD, and I can see and open them if I click into subfolders, but Search in File Explorer doesn't know that they're there.
Is this a known problem with Windows 11? I've never had anything like this happen before.

Welcome aboard our Community, CHbks!
To have a visual of the issue, can you please search for a file in your Dropbox folder again and send me a full screenshot of the results? After that, I’d like you to send me one more screenshot of the file, as it appears within your Dropbox folder.
Out of curiosity, is this something you experience only when searching for files, or when searching for folders, as well?
Keep me posted for any updates.

At the suggestion of the Best Buy Geek Squad, I deleted all my files and re-downloaded them to a folder inside the Windows Documents folder, and now File Explorer is able to find my files via Search as it has always done.
