Sign-in link not working on Android Pixel 8

Hi everyone,

 

I just started setting up a new phone (google pixel 😎 and installed Dropbox. However, when i want to sign into my account i am running into issues. Specifically, when I  enter my login credentials Dropbox asks me to enter a 6-digit code afterwards (sent by mail). When I enter the code I get the message that the code is not valid.

 

Things that i tried that did not help:
- Changing the password

- Using the sign-in link sent via mail (when I clicked on the link the app told me to "contact customer support")

 

Furthermore sometimes the app tells me that my mail or password is incorrect, eventhough I am a 100% sure that I entered the right credentials.

 

Maybe the hive mind can help me out here and resolve my issues! Thanks in advance!

    Hi Dauerwerbesendung, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

     

    I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.

     

    You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link. From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter the same email you use to login to Dropbox. 

     

    Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system

    Hello Jay,

     

    I created a ticket (the category "other" did not allow me to create a ticket so I selected "Two-factor-authentication" as category). The ticket number is "23611527"
