The Dropbox app is taking up a lot of space on my iOS devices when no files are available offline

To summarize, MANY people have seen extreme storage usage from the iOS and iPadOS Dropbox apps, even when all files are set to online-only. Currently, my iPad Dropbox app is using 32GB of space when I have zero files offline. I have tried using the "clear cache" feature for many years and it does absolutely nothing.

Posts regarding storage not recovering on iOS and iPadOS go back 3-4 years and it seems that the developers are not concerned with it. Uninstalling and reinstalling an app because of poor development is piss poor to say the least and it doesn't make Dropbox look very professional.

When is Dropbox going to get their development in order and fix this? My God, it's been years and nothing has been done. What's the deal? Seriously. Are you just happy collecting money at this point?

Hey Matt NV, thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to see you're having this issue.

I understand your frustration, so let's see what we can find.

Are you using the same Dropbox app version on both your devices and which version would that be?

What are your iOS and iPadOS versions?

Also, we appreciate your feedback about the uninstall-reinstall suggestion, however, as this is a really basic troubleshooting step for any issue, can you let me know if you've tried it at any point? And if so, did it help?

Let me know and we'll go from there.
