The Dropbox desktop app doesn't automatically start on my Windows computer.
everyday- my dropbox doesnt start (and is set to start automatically). everyday i have to click on the app thru my windows menu to start it (and yes i uninstalled and reinstalled 2x)
plus it takes several minutes to connect and sync (by contrast onedrive takes seconds and i am not syncing much at all)
plus i signed up for a premium tier to get support- but when i go to support it still shows me in the basic tier with no options for premium support
plus when i navigate to support > desktop app > the page is blank
why?

You have it set to start automatically in Dropbox Preferences, but what about in Windows Startup Settings?

Hi dr_pepper! Let me jump in here, too.
To investigate this further, can you send me a screenshot of your Windows settings (as shown in Rich’s screenshot above) and one more visual of what you see when opening your Dropbox app preferences here?
Finally, for how long has the Dropbox app been acting like that and did the issue occur after a specific Dropbox/OS update?

i dont know how-to check preferences if i dont see the app in the tray and it wont display when i select @ apps and if i right-click @ app... i feel like this has started to occur in the last 3-6 months. prior to that i had no issue- and seemed would start\ sync faster than onedrive or gdrive. now its the other way around- and worse.

Thanks for the screenshot and the extra details, dr_pepper!
If you double click on the Dropbox app in your Start menu > Programs again, it doesn’t launch after that (like you mentioned in your initial post)?
