Solved

There's no option to make files online-only/offline or see their version history on Windows.

On my windows machine, the only options I get when right clicking on a file is

Copy Dropbox link

Share

Transfer a copy

View on Dropbox.com

Manage folder access

How do I get all the options, like make online, available offline, and version history, that I have access to on Mac.

  • HI pukoh, as you mentioned this is a company device, is the Dropbox desktop application installed with admin privileges, in order to get all the context menu items to appear?

Hey pukoh! Welcome back to our Community.

The options that you mention, are they absent from every file/folder on your desktop app?

Apart from that, can you clarify the Dropbox app's syncing status and app version

Finally, I’d like to know when this issue started approximately; did it occur after a specific Dropbox or OS update, for example?

    Keep me posted.

It's missing from all files and folder

    Version 227.4.4774

Status: Your files are up to date

Another person uses the computer, and they said they've never had those options in the last few years.

The computer is managed by an IT department. Could that have something to do with it? Is there a setting they can turn on/off?

Thanks for the extra info you’ve shared! Just to clarify, the desktop app those options are missing from, is it connected to the Dropbox account of another user?
