Unable to login to Dropbox lite with SSO

I'm unable to login to Dropbox lite on windows with my university account, I try with the single sign-on and when I enter my university mail and password the app stops working and after a while it closes.

    I'm using a personal machine.

    I tohught the problem was because of windows defender or firewall but I noticed that if I try to log in with my personal dropbox account everything works fine and I'm able to get in correctly.

    It's possible that there may be a restriction of some sort with the university account. 

     

    Have you contacted your IT team for the university to see if they're aware of this?
