Google Sheets Add-ons/Extensions

Hi, I was using Sheets with Dropbox a lot until recently I found out a very serious limitation that is forcing me to move all my sheets to Google Drive. Apparently, add-ons and extensions for Sheets are not available if the doc is stored in dropbox instead of google drive. (e.g. Goal Seek, from Google's marketplace for G suite). Am I missing something, or is this a real limitation? Is Dropbox planning to fix this?

    Indeed, Google Sheets extensions do not currently function for docs stored in Dropbox.

     

    This is something that our developers are aware of, but thank you for nudging us on this.
