Can't delete Dropbox account

I can't delete my account? I went to this site...

https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/create-delete/delete-account

...but there is no delete option. I need this account closed and all the information deleted. Um, help...

  • Hi there DUATravel, thanks for posting!

Can you visit your Plan page here, what plan does it show exactly there?

If you're on a paid plan, or even a free team structure, you'll not be able to see the "delete account" option.

Let me know what you find!

I am unable to delete my Basic Dropbox which I don't need.

When I try to delete it - I get an error message saying: User Name and Password do not match.

Basic conflicts with my Dropbox Pro. which has a different email.
