Change country in app store, breaking my subscription

Bit annoyed that I’m not able to just contact support because I’m not a ‘plus member’, even though I am and have been for years. 

Recently moved back from New Zealand to the Netherlands, which is super annoying with the app store and this has been a whole nightmare in itself. You need to let all your subscriptions run out before you can change this, so I did. After waiting for a month for all my subscriptions to end, i still couldn’t change since apparently Dropbox still required me to pay 20,50nzd for, idk, the month of April, maybe May? it doesnt say. 

Did that. changed countries. Now my subscription is still not active. In the appstore under my subscriptions it says it ended 25th of July 2024, which is super weird, because Ive been using it and paying for it up until now, so thats not correct. I just already paid for this coming month, as far as I understand it, so why isnt it active?

Dropbox, super annoying that Im not allowed to contact you about issues with my subscription because of course i automatically got downgraded.

    Hey ninabutterfly​, let's jump right into this! 

    The first thing you'd want to check is your in-app invoices. For Apple, you should be able to view your invoice directly from the App Store following the instructions outlined in this article.

    That way, you can see exactly when you upgraded to the Plus plan. Is it possible that the charge was a monthly one, and the account has downgraded since then? 

    Feel free to also let me know what your plan page reports. 

    If everything is updated there, can you kindly try to restore your purchase from your Dropbox app on your Apple device?

    In order to do so, please follow the below steps:
    - In your Dropbox app, tap Account (or Personal if you have paired accounts).
    -Tap on the gear icon at the top of your screen to access your settings.
    -Tap on "Restore purchases".

    Hi, thanks for the quick response. 

    in the app store i have a recent payment of 20,50nzd on the 26th of april saying ‘subscription renewal’. when i try to restore purchases through the app i get error 409. because of this, the subscription page says basic subscription.

    Have you checked with your bank that the payment has gone through, without any issues?

    well yes, i was hoping to have a direct way to communicate but you cant do that if you’ve been downgraded.

    it has happened again. again, i can not use dropbox to do my work and im spending all day stuck. I paid recently, why is my account basic? can you just be clear and fix the issue.
