I want to redeem the Dropbox Basic Extra plan.
I got a notification popup that offered me Dropbox basic-extra. It was around 500GB for around $6 a month. I was excited to take the offer but was busy with other people and the timing was not right so I thought I would sign up later when I got home. But the offer was gone. On a Live Chat a customer service person gave me a URL link to redeem it but it just gave an error that said it is not available.
How can I get the basic-extra plan? It is just personal use and I just cannot justify 2TB or more money. Kindly let me know how I can upgrade to the basic-extra plan. Thank, Gary

These offers are often time-limited and need to be redeemed when offered. If Support provided you with a link to the offer and it wasn't available, then the time has passed and it's no longer available.
This happened often with the Basic+ plan, which, in the past, was only available for short times and to a limited audience.

There has to be some way that that offer can be reissued. That's kind of silly if it's a once-in-a-lifetime offer. kindly try again. Gary

What does it take for a person to qualify for this? Friends have been asking me as I got a similar offer though for 50GB and they did not.

Hey pkalamula, thanks for posting here!
It might not be available to everyone since this is only limited to certain users.
Only users who see this prompt will be available to purchase the plan.
I hope this clarifies!
