You did give permission - you agreed when setting up a free trial that once it was finished you'd pay for a subscription OR cancel it before the subscription started. This is made very, very, clear when setting up.

Refunds are usually non-refundable. However, the only people who can help are Dropbox themselves via http://www.dropbox.com/support OR if you paid via a mobile device your app store.

As Mark stated, you had to agree before you started the trial. It's made very clear up front that if you do not cancel before the trials ends, it will convert to a full subscription.

You can try contacting Support as Mark suggested, but they may not offer you a refund.

Dropbox system doesnt know that though - all it knows is you took a free trial, you willingly gave it your payment details to be charged after said free trial and then you used it. You didn't tell Dropbox to cancel it so it charged you - as you agreed.

Unfortunately, as has been said the ONLY thing you can do is ask Dropbox for a refund, but, as per agreements which you agreed to there is no legal obligation for them to do so.
