The ability to increase storage on a Family plan.
Our family account is at the maximum 2Tb of storage, however there is no ability to increase that to 3Tb or more.....
The point of the Family is about shared cloud storage ( in our case approx 1.2Tb of shared photos/videos etc).
Alternatives are either:
- Individual Dropbox Essential accounts or DropboxProfessional accounts. They both cost about 3x more for what is effectively 1Tb of effective storage more and we loose our sharing capacity.
- another provider. It's only the hassle factor of spending a few hours sorting that out putting me off, but we're not far off from that point !
Last Request: more and more families are needing more shared capacity. Dropbox needs to provide a 3Tb / 6Tb version of its family accounts. Please let me know if this is coming soon, or I'll have to jump soon
thanks!
