Can I hide “file changed” popups for specific files?

Hi,
I have some files (like logs) that I constantly write to from another PC. Every time they update, I get the “file changed” popups all the time. I’d like to hide these notifications for certain files only, but keep them for all other files.

Is there a way to exclude specific files from triggering the popups?

Thanks.

Hey Alfredo P.3! Thanks for your post.

To make sure I got it right, you mean that you edit your files/logs on a different device and you get these update notifications on the desktop app you’ve installed on another computer. Does this sound correct?

If yes, can you send over a screenshot of one of these notifications you keep receiving to have a visual?

Also, is this something that started happening only recently, or has it been going on for a while?

    Let me know.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to share the Help Center article for changing notifications for any other readers with similar issues.

Just wanted to make sure to share as much information as possible!

The notifications are not constant. They stated to appear when I started keeping the "logs" in the dropbox dir. They pop up from time to time. The problem is not that they are annoying but that they are irrelevant.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the screenshot, Alfredo P.3! Can you perhaps clarify what you mean when saying that these notifications are irrelevant?

Other than that, you can only enable or disable Dropbox app notifications via the desktop app preferences that Neal mentioned above.
