My username is my email address that's about to be inactive. Do I need to change it?
I have a large paid personal Dropbox which backs up all my PC personal files, and from which I access files from my phone and iPad, and sometimes share files with other people. I set it up with an email as the username, and that email will be discontinued soon, when I change Internet providers. I've changed the email in my Dropbox account, but I can't see how to change the username. Do I need to? That is, will my Dropbox still work when the email is no longer active?

Hey BobSmith864! Thanks for posting your question on our forum.
If you updated the email address that’s tied to your Dropbox account this way, then you should be all set.
Your username can remain as is, since it’s not required when logging in to your Dropbox account (you only need your email address and password for that).
In case you still want to change it though at some point, this is how you can do it.
Let me know, if you need further assistance.
