6-digit-code to email address I don't use, but I changed my email.

Hi guys,
When I attempted to login on my laptop, Dropbox asked me to login... and it sent a 6 digit code to an email address that I no longer use.

I changed my email in Settings via the Phone App and was emailed a Verify Your Email... clicked on the Verify you email Button... entered my password... and the system would send a 6 digit code to the Same email that I no longer use.

Pls kindly advise.

Thank you!

Hi Mark_73, let's jump right into this!

You mentioned you changed the email of your Dropbox account via the settings in your mobile app.

Considering you can only change the email address associated to your account if you access our website, as mentioned here; is it possible you used the browser on your mobile, or that you didn't successful changed the email of your Dropbox account?

You also mentioned you no longer use the old email address. Do you, however have access to it, in order to use the code temporarily?

Is there any chance that you can reach out to the email provider associated with the email address you no longer use, and ask them to re-create the email, in order for you to receive the 6-digit code?

    Let me know more!
