Allow us to use a passkey as a two-step verification method.
Please add the option for a passkey in security. Curiously Passkey showed in the Dash training video as an option for the screen shown in the video. Had a defective phone that kept me out of my 2FA accounts and never want to experience that again. With this week's huge data (May 2025) breach, I reluctantly enabled 2FA on Dropbox and carefully stored the backup codes. Still, I would feel much better if I could have the security and convenience of a passkey.
Can AI work out how to color folders🙂
Did the Dash training and it is beyond amazing! A real game changer!!!!! Also, I never knew about the Drobox apps.

Dropbox already supports the use of a passkey.

Rich: I followed the link you provided, but there is no mention of 'Passkey' (which is very different from 'Security Key'). I managed to find a link that properly defines the use of a Passkey: help.dropbox.com/security/protect-account [I used plain text here for this link because there is an outstanding, 4-month-old bug in the dropboxforum code that does not allow an html link to be entered here. I am not sure how you could only 28 days ago]. However, the link provided at the bottom of the page, "Learn how to setup a passkey", goes to the TFA discussion, with no reference to 'Passkey' support! Also, the Dropbox Chatbot is moronic and unusable as it doesn't understand the work 'Passkey'. Very frustrating. I hope someone from DB monitors this community. Thanks for your time, Rich, and your support on this forum as a Super User.

Best thing to do is post it in the Ideas section which is monitored. This is currently the bug section and probably wont get to the right people.
