Dropbox needs to change permission for the Folder: (after I updated username folder)

Hello,

 

New mac. Updated the default "appleowner" username. Restarted computer and this box pops up below. Enter my password then the 2nd image pops up saying there is an error. Any suggestions on how I can get around this or update to correct Dropbox to locate the folder with the right username?

 

I no longer get the dropbox icon in the top toolbar of my mac after that.
