Endless CAPTCHA loop when logging into my Dropbox account on Windows 11

When trying to login to my dropbox account on my Win11 desktop PC I have to make a puzzle.

After the puzzle I do get the confirmation that I am actual a human.

But it is followed by a toast-message stating: "The CAPTCHA response was not verified successfully, please try again.".

I have tried in Chrome, Chrome Incognito, Edge, but all three show the same error-toeast message.
I also tried rebooting PC and empty the cache of the browser, but without succes.
Suggestions are welcome.

  • Previously I tried on a laptop in both Edge and Firefox (cleared cache and used Incognito mode), tried on my Android Phone in Chrome and on another desktop in Chrome. On all I faced the same issues, as descibed above.

Now, 4 days later, I tried again on my laptop and the issue is gone. Not even a single captcha message. It's a bit unsatisfactory to not know how it was fixed, but an happy to be able to see /access the files within my account again.

Hey Frankwin - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Do you happen to have another device to try to log into your Dropbox account from there and let us know how it goes?

If not, can you try another browser once more and rebooting your computer and internet router?

Let us know if you still get the same results!
